This Falmouth getaway began as a family’s summer home—the place where memories were made, traditions took hold, and time slowed down. Over time, the landscape evolved, with additional family homes growing up around the original house.What remained constant was the emotional center: the parents’ home, layered with history and meaning.

Our task was to renovate and expand that original house for one of the daughters, her husband and their family—now a mix of older children and young adults—while preserving its significance for her brothers and sisters. Rather than freezing the house in time, the design takes a fresh, intentional approach, honoring the home’s history while allowing it to evolve.

The result is a retreat that feels both familiar and new, rooted in memory and designed to support the next chapter of family life.

A special note: we worked in close collaboration with our longtime friend Michael Ferzoco, of Eleven Interiors – an exceptional interior designer, and the homeowner’s brother. A true family effort, shaped by trust, shared history, and a deeply aligned vision.
